Urban legend has it that parking in Downtown Tucson is hard to come by (and expensive).  Not true!

For convenience, there are roughly 1200 metered spaces in the downtown area, 6 Parkwise (city run) garages or lots
and a multitude of privately owned parking areas.

If you compare rates in Tucson to those of other cities such as Austin, San Antonio, Denver and Portland - you will find that parking in The Old Pueblo is surprisingly affordable - dare I say cheap?  Yes...parking is cheap & plentiful!

(By the way, metered spaces are free in the evenings & on weekends!)
